LEAPFROG HOSPITAL SURVEY RECOGNITION & AWARD

VBCH thanks the thirty-six hospitals that completed the 2007 Leapfrog Hospital Survey.  Recognition was given to all Leapfrog-transparent hospitals an those that fully met the "Leaps for Patient Safety" as well as an award for the highest Safe Praces Score in Virginia.

Cami Jones (center), Quality Management Vice President, Lewis-Gale Medical Center accepted an award from Bernard Niemeier (left) of Summit 2008 Media Partner Virginia Busness and Robert Cramer of Norfolk Southern Corporation and Chair of the VBCH Board of Directors.  The Award was for fully meeting the Leapfrog Hospital Survey Safe Practices Score Leap and having the highest score in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
