The nation's health and its health care delivery system are in a state of crisis. Americans are facing record levels of obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases. Virginia’s employers and employees alike are struggling with skyrocketing health care costs. One reason costs are so high, according to recent studies, is a lack of clear communication between doctors and patients. In response to this crisis, Dr. John Wasson of Dartmouth University, created How’s Your Health, America? VBCH contracted with HYH, America? to bring it to Virginia.
